My name is Lizzie and I am a writer, cook and fourth generation farmer on our property in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. I grew up in rural Queensland learning the traditions of the pioneers which supplied naturally organic dairy, meat and vegetable to our family table. Surrounded by family and working alongside them from a young age in the paddock, I have learnt the skills to be a self-sufficient farmer.
I have put down my knives after working for 12 years in kitchens as a cook. These days I work on our property setting up a CSA and work as a freelance writer and speaker.
